Meet the winners of the 2018 Australian Engineering Excellence Awards

The best of Australian engineering was on display at this year’s Australian Engineering Excellence Awards.

Virtual power plants, solar powered trains, container terminals and advances in battery storage were just some of the winners.

Gongs were handed out for individual and project categories, with finalists for each award coming from every state and territory in the country.

Here’s what the winners had to say about their projects.
